Biography

Regina (Gina) C. McNally is an associate professor in the Management Department of the Graham School of Management at Saint Xavier University. She completed her Ph.D. in business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. McNally has received multiple awards and grants, including 2010 Outstanding Faculty and Staff Award from the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities at Michigan State University, 2008 Withrow Emerging-Scholar Award at Michigan State University, 2008 Product Development Management Association Research Forum Best Paper Award, and a 2004 Research Grant from the Teradata Center for Customer Relationship Management at Duke University.

Regarding research, her interests are driven by her 14 year experience in industry. She focuses on understanding managerial decision making in the areas of innovation and inter-organizational relationships. She has published multiple research articles on these subjects, including publications in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Journal of Operations Management, among others. McNally has co-chaired the International Product Development Management Conference, and co-edited a special issue of the Journal of Product Innovation Management on the topic of Decisions and Decision-Making in Innovation.

Her teaching interests lie in the areas of strategy and new product development/innovation. She currently teaches business strategy and international business to undergraduates and MBA students. Also, McNally has conducted multiple executive education sessions on the topic of innovation.
